system and the frustration of feeling "lost in translation" — even when you speak the language.
We started this space because we believe that no one should have to navigate the world alone. Whether
you are moving for a career, for love, or for a fresh start, the diaspora experience is a unique bond
that connects us all, regardless of the borders we've crossed.
Our Mission
A sanctuary where your voice is safe and your story matters. The diaspora experience is layered — joy,
grief, culture shock, triumph, and the quiet ache of distance. Mainstream platforms were not built for us.
So we built our own.
Diaspora BHive gives members a vault to journal privately, a community to share anonymously, and resources
that actually reflect the realities of living between two worlds.
Meet the CEO — Edrupe
Founder and CEO, Edrupe (Dorcas Tabitha Sinde) is a young and ambitious Kenyan girl who dared the American Dream.
Inspired by the experiences, challenges, dreams and opportunities that come with building a life away from
home, Edrupe created Diaspora BHive as more than just a website — it is a growing community and a place where
people can connect through shared stories, discover opportunities, celebrate culture, and support one another.
